What do you see when you look into the mirror? You see yourself, your human shape or form. What you don't see are the over 50 trillion cells that shape us. These 50 trillion cells are just miniature versions of us. They all have a skeleton, a circulatory system, a respiratory system, a brain, and an elimination system. So really, we are just one big cell housing many, many small ones. Years ago before the science of Epigenetics came into the forefront, scientists believed that the brain of each of these 50 trillion cells was the nucleus. What they found however, was that the nucleus is made up of 50% DNA and 50% protein. The "brain" of the cell is actually the membrane or "skin" covering the cell.
This membrane contains switches. Just like the ones on your wall that control your lights, they are either on or off. One of these switches is called the "Receptor" switch. As the name implies, this switch receives signals, in this case electro-chemical, from it's environment and transmits them through the membrane and into the cell. From there the signal travels via a "Processor Protein" to the second switch called the "Effector" switch. Also as the name implies, this switch causes an effect, which in this case makes the "gears", if you will, of the cell begin moving and do what ever they need to do to perpetuate life.
So to simplify, switches in the cell skin allow signals from the cells surrounding environment to reach into the cell and cause changes to take place.
If you've been following along you may have already made the connection. Since all 50 trillion cells behave like this and we are just really one "big" cell made up of the smaller 50 trillion ones, the same holds true for us! We too have Receptor and Effector switches in our skin that are sending signals from our surrounding environment into our bodies. Where do these electro-chemical signals go? To our brains of course!
How does this relate to our thoughts you say? Well, I'm sure we can all agree that our thoughts are electrical impulses. This has been well established over the years and we need only to look as far as an EEG for proof of that. Through Quantum physics we have discovered that there is something out there that scientists and physicists refer to as the "Field". This Field is made up of energy. Energy that is everywhere. It is in space, the earth, the chair you are sitting on, in us, in fact, there is no where it is not. This energy was used to create everything that was, is, and ever will be.
The relevance of all this? Well here's the good part! Our Receptor and Effector switches send electro-chemical signals that have been perceived from our surrounding environment to the brain and our brain is communicating with the Field via our thoughts, that we all agreed earlier are electrical impulses. So the thoughts we send out to the Field as electrical impulses now strive to become creations. Every thought you think, whether good or not so good, strives to be created. This is what this Field does, It's pure energy and it has created everything you see before us.
So therefore, thoughts indeed, and scientifically now, do become things!
