You Are a Genius!

"Everyone is born a genius, but the process of living de-geniuses them."  - Buckminster Fuller

When we come into this world as tiny babes many of us still have memories of where we just came from inside us. We came from the world of "the absolute", a place where there is only knowing and no experience. Knowing is a divine state - the world of perfect love. But we chose to come to this world of "the relative," where there is no knowing, only experience. Here the grandest joy is in "being", and being is only achieved after experience.

To put it simply then, we came from a world where we knew everything there was to ever know, but could never experience it. We decided to "live," for a short while, in a world where we know nothing, in order to experience the things we already knew, but had no way to experience them.

Not sure if that simplifies things or not, but the point is that many of us have been here many, many times before. Slowly evolving as we experience more and more feelings and emotions. There are those of us as young children that show great talent and knowledge that has no rational explanation. The five year old piano virtuoso, the nine year old opera star, the list goes on and on. The knowledge these young people posses is a carry over from a previous life. They went back to the world of the absolute and chose to come back to the world of the relative so quickly, that some of the memory of their previous life still exists. In fact there are movies and books out that tell the story of some these incredible circumstances.

Unfortunately, as the years pass we forget more and more of who we truly are, and return to our dumbed-down human mode. But although we are no longer the geniuses we once were, we now have the ability to feel and experience life at a level our highest self absolutely loves!
So rejoice in your ability to feel emotion and to feel the sensations of touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. For it won't be long until we once again return to the world of the absolute. Knowing everything, but experiencing nothing.

I don't know about you, but I'm planning my return trip already!

I celebrate the idea of living everyday. It is a blessing that God has given me, and it's also sad that there are still people who don't see its importance. I agree with the saying that we are all geniuses. But because of the way we live and the things we learn as we go, we have forgotten how to live a life and it seems like we cannot do something about it. It seems like we have wasted the idea of being a genius for nothing. If that's the case, how I wish we have stopped living already!
